Does Peugeot 306 Steering Column Fit Pug 205? (+)

Hi there!

Can anyone help me to figure out if there is any difference in dementions between Peugeot306 and Peugeot205 steering columns. I have U-joint worn on my Pug205 column and can not find a replacement for it in Russia. I looked through the catalogs and It seems to me that Pug306 steering coulumn will fit 205. Any advices/ideas?

They are slightly longer so will only fit if you modify them (cut them down slightly)
