Unkown Connector

just fitted my S16 engine but there is one connector i cant find where it goes can anyone please help?

the engine wont start and i was hoping that would fix it but obviously not

M@tt, are you sure its the diagnostics socket?

 

I've only ever seen them in green & not usually in the middle of the loom.

 

How many wires go to it & can you see any numbers on them?

I'm positive i've got one on mine there (granted its a GTI6 but almost the same) and its got a little blanking plug thing plugged into it.

 

The only other things around there could be the oil pressure switch on the block above/behind the starter.

 

Knock sensor has a green plug but doesn't look like that either

oil pressure on the gti6 are grey

 

there is a spare black on the gti6 which is located by the TB

 

maybe its the same on the s16?
