Well if your not used to these then it's easy to make the odd mistake :) ,

It will explain allot as without that pluged in the ECU would have never seen the engine tuning over.

I shouldn't, but I'd agree. There's far too many people who have had this exact experience on this forum including myself. I'm all for not disgracing a companies reputation, especially with legal rights etc. But when a forum member has SUCH a reputation for something, I find it hard to ignore, then see people consistantly buying from him.

Back on topic, glad you've got it running Paul.

No worries Si, nearly fell into the trap with Jonnie with an engine. But thankfully Anthony came up with his :) (thanks again)

You've probably guessed from above but I got it running :D :D

Bloody loud without a manifold on! Thanks to my mate revving it whilst i'm under the car I'm now half deaf.

Out with old...

In with the new :D

Where I mounted the gti filter

And started assembling the cooling system back together

Would recommend one of Spiky's loom to anyone carrying out a 6 conversion, the loom is well made and the 'customer support' is better than excellent :D Thanks again geezer.

I've had a s*it eating grin on my face that hasn't moved all day :D

Ok cheers Spiky no worries.

Wonder where I got that idea from....<_<

Any chance do you have the light bracket I need in the wanted section? It might be easier if you do to send it off with the loom.

Little update :P

New inlet gasket- courtsey of PhillipM on the 306 gti6 forum:

p1010041arr.th.jpg

Fan housing and radiator back on, wired up one fan to be running constantly and one on temp switch. Unsure how i'm going to fit the oil cooler in :(. Modified slam panel using a persuader, to fit around inlet manifold and breather pipe on TB.

p1010042xye.th.jpg

Sweet FA clearance

p1010043q.th.jpg

Got a question: Am I running this hose in the correct place? (coolant hose from rad)

I'm using the thermostat adapter from Miles.

p1010044f.th.jpg

Also thanks to Miles for sending the odd random bits I needed, bolt fitted perfect

Miles

I think that BBM are looking into a new top hose that fit's better, There again are different ways of routing the std pipe depending on which Air Filter you use as well.
