Oil Filter On Vts Lump

Recommended Posts

I intend on not using the heat exchanger oil cooler thing on my vts engine - how do I fit just the filter on the block though - there is no screw, if I take the cooler off. Can i somehow remove the one from my 8v? If so how?

you just need to screw in the hollow stud thing off you 8v engine. their a bit of a bastard to get off but it can be done. If not they dont cost a lot from peugeot.

OK, thanks. Thought this would be the case, but couldn't see how to unscrew the threaded bit, without ruining the thread! Any tips?

Tap a torx T45 into stud and it can be retracted easily. But they are sub £5 from memory from Pug.

Al :)
