309gti Track Car Brake Upgrade

The question is in the title..... My Track 309 is running standard brakes and they are now lacking....

 

Last Friday I was on a track that had 2 long straights and very hard braking at the end of both. While I could stay out on track all day the brakes didn't inspire confidence and I had to use the run off more than once. It didn't help that I was on a Lotus track day.....

 

So I ask you more knowledgeable than I on the subject...... whats the best stoppers for the 309/205

 

 

O and please note my budget is not endless

try some carbon lorraine pads. They're pretty good. Hard on discs but stop well. About £57 I think. You can go Gti6 or whatever else but you get a lot of additional weight which isn't always a good thing as it's unsprung weight
