Does anyone know where I might be able to get hold of some of this?

It has been used for years in the g/box and I now I'm all out I cannot find it anywhere!

Its for a 1.6 box, attached to an S16 engine.

May well be overkill, happy to use an alternative if there is one but I don't know enough about oils to make a confident decision...

Thanks for the link, they weren't there last time I looked thats for sure! Might have to call them and see if they'll do small quantities!

it the wrong oil for a PSA box, you need to use 75W80 BV oil.

that stuff is axle oil and not designed to work with synchromesh gearboxes.

No kidding? I'm just using what Revla used to put it in...

I think its time for a new box anyway so may as well start fresh properly...

Thanks for the advice

nope, not kidding at all!!

the brands that have been used by peugeot are a step better again, Total, Shell and Esso have done a specific blend for Peugeot/citroen, they work much nicer with these :)

that stuff will do, but you could probably get 2 litres not 1 from your local pug dealer for the same cash :D
