Simple Question On Clutches

hey guy's i've been offered a cheap 205 diesel (which i used to own!) but the clutch has gone in it.

 

just wondering if the clutch from my spare engine ( 1987 1600 gti be1 ) will fit into the 1.8 non-turb. diesel unit.

yup, IIRC both are 200mm push type clutches :wub: just use the appropriate release bearing if the diseasel is a BE3.

ooohh mega :) now that is nice to hear! cheers mate!

 

guna be picking up a nice ol' 1.8 diesel in white for 100 quid this weekend then me thinks! just have to think about getting it back to my house!
