Pulled My Driveshaft Apart :(

Ok when removing my driveshaft (short one) earlier i managed to pull the inner cv out. Just wondering if this should be ok if i slot it back together, i slid them back in earleir and there seemed a little play when twisting it.

 

Have a buggared it , and should i look at buying a new one ?

They will just slot back together mate,just make sure you havnt ripped the gaitor when it pulled apart

While its off just check its condition. If its fine then stick a bit of grease in there and secure it back on, jobs a good'en.

If it's come apart then may aswel do as said and make sure it's all nicely greased, also worth making sure all the needle bearings etc are present if there's a little play!
