Iv just made one,it used two grills cut the badge out,and cut the bars from the other grill to fill the gaps, plastic welded them in,a bit of filler, loads of sanding, prime and paint, job done, will post pics tomorrow if i get time.

I also ordered one from dijnuk but the divvy royal mail wrecked it by the time it got to me,this one was made different, the badge was taken off and the gaps were filled with filler and shaped into the bars, the only thing with this way is you can still see where the badge was between the bars.

These are a pain to do right, mine owes me about 10 hours in all, but its plastic welded, plastic bonded with webbing, propper plastic filler etc. done right :)

The secret is to get the badge backing removed from the centre otherwise they look naff.

I had one on my CTI, but I think they don't look very good with an auto bonnet and the other lines on the front of my car, so I sold it. It is like having a face with no nose!

Nice plate, i'm glad this thread started as i am going to have a crack at doing one, i am a perfectionist though so it will probably take me a year to get it right.

I think some 3 bar grills suit different coloured cars, as i have seen some that look good and some that look naff.

Or hand the german company Mattig £40 and a couple of days later you will recive an awsome grill made from the same rubbery material as spoilers.

This is mine
