Sunroof Vacuum Servo Tee Piece

The Unequal Tee that connects to the vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold to the servo to feed the Sunroof seal.

I'm looking into possibly making one from brass pipe fittings, but I'm worried they might cause a restriction as the ones I can get a hold of have a smaller inside diameter.

 

205 GTI's are getting rare in scrap yards now and it's the only car that I can think of has a Vacuumed sealed sunroof.

 

Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried gluing it, didn't work!

The vacuum sunroof wasn't only fitted to the GTI or 205 (well, the 309 had it), TD & base models had it also which might broaden your search a little.

 

I wouldn't fit a smaller diameter T piece on the servo side of the piping but you copuld take the sunroof feed from a small T piece in the FPR pipe offtake on the inlet manifold as found in the washers piping.

I pulled one out of my XT, not 10 minutes ago, i chucked it in the bin though but i could dig it out and post it to you though if you need one.

They are still available, and cost less than £2 if my memory serves me right
