Making 1600 Run Smoother

Recommended Posts

its not hesitant or missing but is there anyway to make the 1.6 gti run a bit smoother? i'm assuming changing the sparks would be a good start ? (they look a bit on the old side ) and leads? i wouldn't trust myself to do the leads sounds complicated! ) also is it normal for a slight exhaust pop when you do a quick rev ?

when doing the leads, do them one at a time. that way you cant mess them up!

I would personally buy a new rotor arm and cap if they too look dated!

The pop always used to happen on my 1900 8v
