I think they are the same as 1.6 gti ones.

1.9 gti ones are bigger, thicker shafts.

My local scrappie has some if you would like me to get them, they are quite a cheap scrappie so I would imaging they would charge me £30 tops for a pair. Let me know...

Diesel and 1.6 GTi driveshafts are identical - in fact, with the exception of 1.9 GTi's and 1.6 GTi's with ABS, AFAIK all 205 XU/XUD driveshafts are the 1.6 GTi type :rolleyes:

 

All the TU models use a different driveshaft, as the inner spline is different to match the MA box. No idea about the XY(?) engine models, but I assume they're different again.

yup, different again, equal length! (as shown on Damir's handy link)
