hi im after the distributor as i took me car to the local pug garage and they have said the diaphgram has gone causing it to hold back. i would like to know wheres best to get recon. also an afm. any help will do thanks. p.s tried ebay on the dizzy no joy.

If the vacuum unit diaphragm has gone you just need the vacuum unit. Much cheaper than buying the whole distributor. Autofive sells them, among others. Make sure the actuating rod is exactly the same length as in the one you've taken out, as it dictates the position of the baseplate. If the rod is a different length you'll have to reset the ignition timing, otherwise you can mark the distributor position so you can put it back in exactly the same place.
