I know this is probably a stupid question but can you take the flywheel off without removing clutch-dont what the hassle of tryin to get the clutch back in the right postion. Havent got one of them tools for centering clutch, Read you can use a socket but will that do it properly?

I got to do my dreaded Crankshaft seal on fri-Wish me luck!!

Anyone got the torque settings for clutch, flywheel etc?

Cheers J

I'm pretty sure you can't take the flywheel off without taking the clutch off. It's really not that hard to center the clutch, just put it on the flywheel, put the bolts on by hand and put a ratchet extender in the hole, it will be a bit thinner in diameter so move it once or twice around from side to side and then tighten the bolts. That's the way I do it and never had a problem.

Flywheel bolts (renew bolts and use thread locking compound) . . . . . .36 lbf ft 45Nm

Can't find the torque settings for the driveplate.

Clutch has to come off.

Centering it is the easy bit

The bolts that hold the flywheel on are behind the clutch. So yes, it needs to come off.

I rarely use clutch aligining tools, I just do it by eye, but i do a lot of clutches :)
