Is Mine The 105 Or 115 Bhp Model?

its a 1991 laser green 1600 H REG, non sunroof, non cat, non powersteering. goes like a rocket so im assuming its the 115, my Peugeot man didn't know for sure but he said it was probably the 115

Yours will definatly be, (if standard head), 115 bhp.

Peugeot put the bigger valve head on, the same as the 1.9 from 1987 onwards, so yours will be 115 bhp.

Definately a 115bhp B6E engine. Set for unleaded 95ron fuel from the factory.

 

You'll be hard pressed to find even an early 1.6 with the 105bhp engine in imo.

I know what you mean Pugtorque,my dad had i C reg 1.6 GTI and it went like a rocket,no way was that the 105 lump,was prob quicker than my laser

I bought a '90 G-plate at the end of last year. Had to take it out because the block was cracked, and found it was an early one (180A).

So don't take anything for granted.
