Vts Into Zx

hi ive got a zx 2.0 8v which im planing on converting to 16v using a xsara vts as a donor car as i can also take the brakes,arb's ect and was wondering if any one can see any problems using a phase 2 as these seem to be more readly available. Ive heard that the manifold cat and the loom are different due to the phase 2 having two lambada sencers.

just make sure the engine you have sourced isn't from a Multiplexed Xsara which I believe the last few were, I think the twin lambda is a give-away.

 

If it is, the easiest thing to do is to get a Loom and ECU from an earlier car, or a 306 gti6.

 

Wiring it us is pretty simple, I would imagine most of the wires on the 2.0 8v would be much the same in the single round multiplug that's hidden in the engine bay fusebox.
