Swaped Be1 To Be3

hi all ive changed the box from the earlie be1 with lift up reverse to the later be3.

 

what do i need to do to remove the lift up reverse because once ive gone over to 4th or 5th to go back down i have to lift up the reverse cable to allow gear stick to go back over....

Easiest way would be to swap the gear lever for a later one.

that sounds a bit off to me, i dont remember having that issue with my be3 converted car. and i kept the liftup reverse as my mi16 box had reverse next to 1st. unless its because of this, that i didnt have that issue.

Just remove the color of the BE1 stick and use the BE3 sleeve, no change to swap sticks

I left the old BE1 type gearbox gearstick in when i went to a BE3 gearbox.
