Fogs

my fogs don't work are they on a separate fuse to other things button lights up on dash but no juice on fogs

They arn't fogs they are driving lights and therefore come on with mains beams (or should do!) :lol: hope that helps.

whoops sorry saxo generation here :lol: nah they still dont come on with the main beems im hoping its just a fuse problem ill check the manual see wot fuse they run off

Its more likely you have corroded connectors imo but depending on the age of your car fuse #4 is for the driving lights (1989 on).

 

There should be a yellow two pin connectors behind each headlight for each driving light if they are still the oe ones but if they've been swapped for aftermarket lights you could find anything there.

Agreed, it's always them yellow plugs under the headlights. Had to do mine yesterday !

yellow plugs under the headlights do you mean the ones that sorta go onto a board next to the radiator if so what do i need to do spray wd40 on them or something?

yea wd40 and a good clean up, or if they are too corroded, you will have to replace the connectors.

No that's the earth points, there's a 2 pin long square connector with leads coming out of either end behind the headlight on each side as you're facing the car, clean up their connections and you might find some joy. :)

feel like such a pillock they worked all along i just didnt know you had to have the main beam up :rolleyes:
