Recommended Posts

Ok after removing an immobiliser Im left with one plug hole unfilled on the fusebox!

Anyone know what was meant to go in there: 3 pin hole with red dot?

It's empty on both of mine , too  Guess it's for an unusual extra (air-con / abs etc)

Super Josh

Isn't the single blue wire the one that you plug into one of two locations to determine whether the stereo has a permanent live or is switched with the ignition?

2 single wires come out of that double socket (socket U), both go to stereo according to wiring diagram

pin 1 is switched, pin2 is permamanet

It's not empty on mine :) I'll have a look and see what it's for. But iirc, I only have one wire there and it's connected on the middle pin. Will check.

According to the Haynes, it's X and the sole wire on pin2 runs to the Central Locking Control Switch. Interestingly enough, it's joined to the pin2 wire for the radio (and hence fuse 7) in the fuseboard.
