Megajolt Using Map

Recommended Posts

PVFCpug

spotted a unit available which is the V3 Megajolt but is a MAP set-up only, question I have is can this be used on a twin 45 set up and where would you MAP pick up from. Would this mean messing about with the manifold. Is there perhaps a way to modify board from MAP to TPS?

Doesn't the inlet manifold have a port for the servo you could tap into for the MAP sensor?

Although thats probably not ideal because it'll only sense the demand for one cylinder.

For what they cost I'd hold out for a TPS version to be honest.

An MJ meant for taking MAP readings will work with carbs but to get the signal close to being stable you would need to make a take off on each runner and some kind of chamber to stablilise the air. Hold out for a TPS one as Tom said.
