Hankook Ventus V12 Evo Tyre

I've got a full set of these tyres, getting fitted next week. They cost about £32.50 each from Camskill, a wee bit more than Toyos that I have now but I wanted to try something different. It's entirely for (quick-ish) road use. They have recieved great reviews in German mags, one test also showed the Toyo to be quite poor in most areas wilst the Hankook come second to the F1 asymetric (215/45 R17 size though).

 

I will give my opinion on them once scrubbed in, as a comparison with Toyo's T-1R which I've had for a year - 12k miles, rotated twice, 2mm left on each.

 

I will put the Toyos on my Cyclones as I hope to do a track day this year, they still have bags of dry grip and feel great without wobbly treadblocks

 

Anyone running the Hankook V12 EVO?
