Aftermarket Rose Jointed Wishbones

I have been contacted by someone in Ireland making 205 rosejointed wishbones. The shape is certainly different to Compbrakes and I am finding out whether it clears the arb (I think it will). They are going to get a standard car and test it.

Is there a much interest for these as I will pursue it if there is....

I know there was a lot of s*it about it, with them mixing up the old and new style arms, but my Combrake wishbones (the later type) fit fine with the ARB I have no complaints

 

Maybe PM rs-tone about it and find out where they now stand since they got their act together before looking for new and unknown parts - which also might end up being a problem

Are they tubular with an outer s/j and inner r/js ?

If they're similar to the compbrake ones then no, they're made from 12mm sheet steel.

I'm working on some tubular ones at the moment, there's a thread in the suspension forum about it. Should start making them late spring / early summer but theyll be worth the wait.
