Steel Crank For Xm Turbo

a mate of mine is after one does anybody no where you can get em he doesnt want to use a mi one as he isnt a fan of mi's said they are to soft any help would be great cheers

T16 one is 86mm stroke and forged steel.

Just go to Peugeot and order one, think you'll get it for 1000£ :blush:

 

If not I'm sure Farndon engineering can get you one, though I've heard they cost more in the range of 2000-3000£ each.

 

But then you can ask why does he want a steel crank? Is he running more than 500bhp?

If not whats the point?

I have a spare standard diesel one which is steel. Ex colin satchell one.... I wouldnt want much.......

i think he just wants a fully forged engine as his last one blew up what is a colin satchell one? also what power is safe in a xm engine without going forged i no a freidns 306 one got 250 atw before lifting out the rollers so they are unsure any help would be great cheers

A guy in Holland is doing around 350bhp on standard internals, just the headbolts converted to ARP studs and a copper headgasket.
