Where To Buy?

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I am not an huge fan of online shopping and I never really knew any good online shops  Can someone recommend a good one with parts for my 205 ? I mean with good selection of brake pads ferodo/ebc/mintex , discs ebc, brembo, omp, black diamond etc, strut braces. I can bet you know the best place for the best value shopping.

Thanks and sorry if question was asked already :)

Some people here have had bad experience but I have always found YB Racing on eBay good.

They stock OMP and always seem to undercut the likes of Demon Tweeks.

Don't Halfords sell Ferodo?

I get my brake parts from Rally Design usually, had no problems with them at all :)

Batfink

OMP disks will be quite expensive compared to some other brands. I disagree with spending £100 on a set of standard type disks.

I agree with the above statement. My front brakes are std 1.9 calipers with CARBON LORRAINE RC6 pads (Batfink has the best price) with cheap discs from GSF (£15 +vat the pair). The pads are awesome no fade, good bite from cold last pretty well (used for road rallying with occasional trackday). Even though the discs glow, there is never any brake judder.

I am a firm believer that "uprated discs" are just a money spinner. Get the best pads you can, use cheap discs and change them as they wear out.
