Pulling Bar

i want to fit a pulling bar and pull a caravan like the dutchman i am, is this one going to fit my peugeot 205 GTI? (1.6, 1990)

Looks ok for a small box trailer, but too wimpy for a caravan.

 

Also, you need dual electrics, this only has single.

 

I have 2 further comments.

 

1 - DO NOT PUT A TOW BAR ON A 205.

 

2 - As above.

yeah it won't be very stable at speeds and probably won't have good enough brakes to stop it.

lol, check the max train weight of the car as you won't be able to tow much before it become illegal, (well, in the uk anyway)

I have a towbar on my gti, but it is for a small trailer that I use. I wouldn't pull a caravan with it as the towing weight is quite low. Still handy to have if you use a trailer though.

its only a small caravan, 500kg. and it has its own brakes...

 

but will the darn think fit?
