What Can I Use As Temporary Coolant?

im not sure if this is in the right section, but can anybody recommend something i can use for a breif period in place of coolant, i would use water but i dont want it freezing! i just dont have a chance to get to halfrauds or similar for about a week or so and i want to try and get the car running asap!

You have to be near to a petrol station or the like, it doesnt have to be Halfords.

 

Coolant is even sold in supermarkets.

dont run it, and leave it empty. that or get down the supermarket and buy some. just dont get the premix stuff, its crap.

I have used pop in the past. :lol:

For the love of God this is not a recommendation, as said you can get anti-freeze anywhere.
