Oil Catch Tank?

I have got myself an oil catch tank and plumbed the pipes from the oil filler top into it.

Where has anyone with one of these fitted it?

 

I currently have mine perched next to the battery where the air intake pipe usually goes.

This is where i placed mine, I made a bracket up and made it sit up a high as i could so bonnet did not hit it, Been like that a while now with no probs.

Cool, I will make up a bracket, just wanted to make sure it was in the best place first.

Does yours ever fill up with oil?

Mine is held on by one of the thermostat housing bolts. So sits beside the battery etc. Its only small though

 

After a few months of it on, ive taken the engine out, was more dirty water than oil in there. Just the condensation with some oil particles really.
