Supercharger Direct To Inlet Manifold

I use standard busa rubber inlet trumpets on my supercharged plenum to aid air flow. We've also always aimed to have enough space for a tennis ball to pass over the trumpet inlet, if at all possible avoid feeding directly into an inlet.

 

We also run one of the s/c'd cars without an intercooler, but on warm days intake temps do rise very high however as its only used for very short periods of time we can tolerate that. Intake temps dropped massiely when we fitted a dedicated naca duct to feed the intake too.
