Subframe Interchangeability?!

hey, after writing off the shell of my 309, i'm looking at options of interchanging parts.

 

wondering if the 309 subframe and front suspension will fit onto a gti/rallye 205 shell?

If its still got the rallye engine it will need modifications.

correct me if I'm wrong, its a while since I looked at both but are the 309 wishbones slightly longer ?

as for the subframe, ye I've had to swap them.

Yep 309 wishbones are slightly longer. Will create a small amount of -ve camber which is a good thing really.

Front solid to flexi brake brackets on the inner wings may need moving to clear the droplinks if its a rallye shell, only seems to happen on some cars though. Certainly my old XS shell needed them moving.
