anyone know the weights of the above

 

as i just had the car weighed and it wasn't what i expected, so the extra weight must be the cage and engine, so just want to see how much the engine weighs

I think im right in saying the 6 is about 40kg heavier than a 8v

 

Someone will undoubtibly correct me if im worng

800 was kinda my aim, but it looks like the target is maybe out of my reach

 

though new wheels i will save 16kgs and 6kgs for new front brakes

 

will be looking to see what else i can do

800 is possible i think will just require some thought i think.

Cheese grating the shell, alloy holed bumper brackets that sort of thing. Along with looking at the brakes and wheels you should get close:)

What about your exhaust i know mine is as light as a feather .Omp mild steel its lasted me 3 track years but never seen salt so don't know if it would last on your Spiky.

i can save 3or 4kg with a billet fly wheel too

 

i need a new bumper, as mine is cracked, once i get once i will ne dilling the mounts so will save more there...lol

 

wont bother with the exhaust, mine is SS so will just accept it for what it is

ITB's is what i would really want, but dont have the cash for them, then i thought cams but thats 1k by the time i get it mapped
