my steering rack is fubar and need to get a new one, onlz thing is in live in switzerland. i spoke to gsf and thez have no more on stock and also euro car parts has none in stock, I was woondering if a citron yx rack would fit or anz other citroen model. Or if any one knew where i can get one from.

have GSF/ECP given an idea as to how long it might be before they're in stock again?

didn't think recon racks were particularly difficult to find here; guess you only need to find a supplier who will ship overseas reliably

 

i think some feel the recon racks aren't as good as the genuine ones (although had no bother with the recon rack i fitted to mine) - may also be worth advertising for a decent s/h one on here to see if anyone would be able to help you out?

gsf didnt say i guess they need to find a few fooked ones to recon first, lucky i was able to get one from autofive and the brucie bonus is that my dad is in the uk until wednesday so he will be able to bring it back with him.

I've just recently bought a reconditioned rack for my 205 Gti from a normal motor factors. Just over 52 quid exchange. I got two other quotes from two other motor factors, Bennetts being one of them (They have a website, not sure if you can order..) I don't think they're that hard to get hold of. Switzerland might be another story though! Good luck!
