how'd you go about getting a trade card then? Didn't a I read a while ago if you had an engineering degree you could get one? Or do you need a legitimate company?

Not sure about degrees, I got mine with my college qualification so you might be able to. Your best bet is to ask kenno as he knows a lot about it.

Forget the model number but I got a £90 4yr high rated battery for my friends 306 HDi for £50 and a ~£68 focus one for £40

 

Bulbs are about 1/3 the price and wipers are a lot less, tools you get a fair bit off. Nothing off paint though sadly or bike stuff etc

I have had up to 20% discount on tools, however this can vary down to about 2/3%

i find the best discount is on spark plugs, wiper blades, bulbs and filters.

but off the top of my head

the biggest torque wrench upto 300NM was £79.99 (iirc) down to £48
