What Type Of Caliper?

Can anyone tell me what type of caliper I have here? Is it a Bendix, Girling, from a 1.6 GTI, from a 1.9 GTI...

 

The car was originally a 1.6 GTI, but I know the previous owned changed the driveshafts, hubs and (I assume) disks to 1.9 GTI parts. I think the calipers are from a 1.9 GTI. Can anyone confirm or tell me otherwise?

Yep, 1.9 Girling.

the clue would be the "GIRLING" moulded into the casting....

To be fair it could be 'Lucas'

yeah, usually disguised in the rust, but in either case, it wouldn't be a BENDIX alloy caliper

I couldn't see any names moulded into the caliper (just a couple of faint numbers) - too much rust and not enough light! I'll have a closer look at the weekend in proper daylight. The main thing for me to confirm is whether it's a 1.6 or 1.9 caliper.
