RR operator has 15 years experience so tieing the car down wasnt too much of a problem.

The rollers are 20 inch and are quite grippy compared to the smaller type rollers.

neg camber would have to be dialed off the car while on the rollers if Dave decides he wants to up the boost once he is used to the power he has at the moment.

after being in the car today , there are only a handful of cars that go regularly capable of passing the 205 on the straights

was airborne in this today!

Mental car, breaks traction in 4th in the dry :(

Sounds absolutely mad!

But without wanting to be negative I have to say what is the point in so much power when you can't use it?

I'm sure neary 400bhp in a 205 is insanely fast but surely when you are in lower gears if you can't give it full throttle in order not to induce wheelspin then it begs the question why have the power if its not useable?

From my experience with around 200bhp in my own car which to me is more than enough with turbo torque then this must be just plain silly!!

what you mean he cant use it? course he can, just dont put the foot right down all the time. if it breaks traction lift off and then put the foot back down,

Well thats exactly what I mean....if he doesn't put his foot down all the way then he may only be using 280 rather than 380bhp....so whats the extra 100bhp doing? and would a 280bhp car with the abiltiy to take full throttle through each gear be quicker than one with 380bhp which is constantly being modulated on and off the throttle to get traction??

I.e the way I have been seen off in my 205 turbo in the wet by repmobiles just because I can't get traction!! :)

Anyway I don't want to get into an argument about the pro's and con's of a very high powered front wheel drive cars. It will be stunningly fast regardless of whether is is spinning or not and thats the whole point!!

yes its crazy quick

yes it does wheel spin

yes i just wheel spun past my mate in his 205 turbo and pulled about 20 car lengths before i just let off (in the wet) :P

alot harder to drive than my quick 8v turbo i had before but is also alot faster and on the track most of the time traction should'nt be a problem

i'm sure even at 400 it is controllable, unless you have no feeling in your right foot..lol

sure you wont be full throttle at the apex of some bends, but it dont matter,

cant imagine the thril of full throttle, very jealous :)

well after feeling the brakes werent up to the rest of the car i got these custom made Alcon 4 pots with 305mm rotors custom bells and brackets but still never fitted under the 15s so with a little bit more work we got them to fit and clear the std alloys 8)

Looking good Dave. Would the brakes not clear your std wheels with your 10mm spacers?
