little update not a good one tho lol

had it up the track beginning of the week and had complete brake fail (master cylinder)at 120 mph plus up the straight and rolled it as had to miss a evo 8 what i was catching at a daft rate.

only plus side it it proved how well it was built due to not alot of damage for being over 10ft in the air and rolling twice.

car running gear etc still minted only minimal body damage will post pics whem am back from my holidays

thanks dave

Woah, thats a serious speed to crash at!

Schumacher was doing that sort of speed and broke both his legs iirc, and he was in a F1 car!

glad to hear no major damage

The speed we were approching the tyres was crazy, I openly admit I was scared at that point but luckly it was all over very quickly and the massive impact I was expecting never came.

The ONLY brake we had was the hand brake and judging by the flat spotted rear tyres i say it worked quite well unlike most 205 handbrakes LOL

sure Dave wont mind me posting this.

Such a shame, glad you're both okay and the state of the car is a testament to the quality of work throughout the build. Best of luck putting it back together if you haven't lost heart
