Sd Roll Cage Fitting

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering if anyone has advice on cutting holes in the dashboard so that a SD cage will fit. I have a ph2 dash and it looks to me like the cage will go through the side blower vents??!!

If you're planning on driving it hard enough to warrant a roll cage then you don't need a dashboard. Get rid of it.

Always the way though.. fitting a roll cage for the first time is a very steep learning curve! I managed to do this on my first attempt at front triangulation.

The heater vents and slightly beyond, best bet is to suck it and see so to speak.

Ok cheers for your words of wisdom guys. The cage is a SD 10 point and has been fitted for a while i am just converting my dash to ph 2 but because the ph1 dash was done by someone so badly I was just looking for some advice. It will be good to see some pictures if anyone has any??!!
